Each of these resources are available for use by the public inside the library. A shortcut to each of thes resources can be found on the desktop of any public access computer in the library. Please ask staff if you need help navigating any of our resources.

HeinOnline

HeinOnline is a premier online research platform that provides more than 193 million pages of multidisciplinary periodicals, essential government documents, international resources, case law, and much more. Composed of fully searchable image-based PDFs and available at an affordable price, the wealth of material allows academic institutions, government agencies, law firms, court systems, corporations, and other organizations access to authoritative, true-to-print digital material without the hassle or cost of using multiple research databases.

Suggested Pattern Jury Instructions

Pattern jury instructions provide researchers with an example of the jury instructions the judge will use at trial. Researchers can use them as a guide how they should present their argument in court, or can refer to them at the beginning of research process to ensure they research all of the essential elements of a legal issue.

Westlaw

Westlaw is an online legal research service and proprietary database for lawyers and legal professionals available in over 60 countries. Information resources on Westlaw include more than 40,000 databases of case law, state and federal statutes, administrative codes, newspaper and magazine articles, public records, law journals, law reviews, treatises, legal forms and other information resources.. Due to COVID-19 Westlaw has agreed to allow 14 day trial periods for people who are unable to visit our facility that still need to do legal research.
